Rennes Métropole, the organizing authority for mobility, defines the overall strategy for transportation in its territory through its Urban Transportation Plan (UTP) and, within this framework, organizes public transportation policy in its 43 municipalities. To promote sustainable travel throughout the country, the city is implementing a range of solutions that give priority to public transportation and develop complementarity between the different modes of transport, with a strong emphasis on innovation and experimentation.
